Happy Birthday Tom Lehrer
Mathematician Tom Lehrer found minor fortune and considerable fame as a satirist singing comedic songs. He is 90 years old today.
Sorry he quit writing/singing/performing. Hard to think of anyone doing such witty satire nowadays...or for that matter, anyone who would rhyme "try and hide" with cyanide. Great quote in Wikipedia... "I'm not tempted to write a song about George W. Bush. I couldn't figure out what sort of song I would write. That's the problem: I don't want to satirise George Bush and his puppeteers, I want to vaporize them."
